I’m Jon Kirk, a Salt Lake City Art Director with 25+ years of experience in art direction, creative direction, and editorial product photography for brands big, small, polished, scrappy, and occasionally wearing very nice shoes. I’ve directed still life photography, brand campaigns, catalogs, retail content, digital marketing, and visual storytelling for product categories including men’s and women’s jewelry, footwear, soft goods, home goods, hard goods, cosmetics, and high-end luxury brands. Along the way, I’ve worked with companies like Fossil, Sundance, Nordstrom, Tommy Bahama, and Brooks Running, helping teams turn good ideas into thoughtful, well-crafted visuals. My favorite projects are collaborative ones — where photographers, stylists, designers, clients, and creatives all have a stake in the outcome and everyone is rowing in the same beautifully art-directed direction.
